Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP Proudly Represents Robert Jackson in His Lawsuit against the ACLU

Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP is honored to represent Robert Jackson in his lawsuit against the ACLU.  Mr. Jackson alleges that the ACLU fired him in retaliation for complaining about structural racism within the ACLU at the organization’s Southern Collective Convening event in Montgomery, Alabama.  While the ACLU is known for its strong advocacy on behalf of the Black community and other underserved groups, its retaliation against Mr. Jackson for his protected complaint is unacceptable.  Like anywhere else, the ACLU should be a place where its own employees are free to speak out about discrimination without fear of retribution or reprisal.  Faruqi & Faruqi looks forward to continuing its fight on Mr. Jackson’s behalf.  Mr. Jackson is represented by Partner Alex J.
