Bill Baker

Bill Baker is an Associate in Faruqi & Faruqi’s New York City office.  Bill’s practice is focused on employment law.

Prior to joining Faruqi & Faruqi, Bill clerked in the Western District of Tennessee for the Honorable Jon P. McCalla.  He then worked at a prominent New York City employment law boutique.  There, he represented employees in discrimination, harassment, and whistleblower protection matters, as well as collective actions and other employment-related claims.

Bill received his J.D. at New York University School of Law, where he was a staff editor for Moot Court Board, president of the Jewish Law Student Association, and a producer of Law Revue. During law school he also participated in an employment law clinic and spend two summers working in public defense, in Nashville, Tennessee and Alaska. Prior to law school, he worked as a teacher, a farmhand, and a fundraiser.

Bill is licensed to practice in the state of New York. He is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the Federal Bar Council and the New York City Bar.
